Wavemaker is a global media agency that positively provoke growth for brands by reshaping consumer decision-making and experiences through media, content, and technology. Before Adverity, Wavemaker used an internal solution to collect, manage, and harmonize marketing campaign data.

However, this created challenges supporting the breadth of reporting the Wavemaker team needed to support a growing list of clients. New clients meant a need for new data sources, but development constraints made it difficult, if not impossible, to keep up with constant changes across hundreds of APIs.

Wavemaker now uses Adverity to connect to over 80 data sources to support internal operations and deliver excellent client experience. By ingesting, cleaning, and harmonizing data in one platform, they can better understand the “whys'' behind campaign performance and more easily identify new areas of optimization.

New data sources are now also added much faster and easier, without relying on internal resources. Adverity’s data connector library does more than simply empower Wavemaker with faster, more robust data ingestion - collected data is now easily pushed into structured workspaces, reducing the time it takes to separate and organize client-specific data – something that was a challenge for the team in the past.

This data passes through multiple quality checks along the way. Time-saving data quality tools like automated data mapping, duplicate detection, and custom data alerts, keep Wavemaker confident that client data is accurate at every stage of the pipeline.

Creating a clean data room with Amazon Marketing Cloud

Wavemaker was one of the first customers to utilize Adverity’s Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC) connector, which allows for granular analytics in the Amazon ecosystem.

The AMC connector enables detailed reporting of event data like purchase history, cart actions, search overviews, ASIN detailed pages, and more, while still maintaining GDPR privacy standards. 

The connector’s flexibility gives Wavemaker the option to custom configure the datastream specific to their data needs, allowing them to either manage existing AMC queries in the Adverity platform or build custom workflows via SQL queries.
